'Soldier A'...

'Solidier A' is 26 years old and currently works in the communications industry. He had been a keen Territorial Army volunteer at school and later when he was a student. Last year he completed a two-month tour of duty in Iraq. Today he has resigned from the army.

Like Cyril he had nightmares after his combat time. He was never cold or hungry like Fred but he witnessed military incompetency and inappropriate journalist interference that the older soldiers were never aware of.

'Soldier A', unlike Fred and Cyril, still believes there is a time and place for war.
