Today we are in an unique position of having living soldiers who fought in the Great War, The Second World War and the current Iraq War. This 16-minute documentary is the human story of three soldiers in three different wars who all fought for Britain. It is designed for audiences around the July 10th 2005 major celebrations commemorating the end of the Second World War.

| Fred | Cyril | Jamie |
Fred, Cyril and Jamie talk of their war experiences. Some of their experiences match despite decades between them. Other experiences are unique to their time.
None of them were adequately prepared for war, and only Jamie received a debriefing; a 25-minute presentation by a psychologist to 40 soldiers in a room as they landed home from Iraq.
Fred and Cyril no longer believe that going to war is the right thing to do. Jamie still believes that war in some circumstances is justifiable.
