Lily

Cynthia (Mum) has now been adopted by a lovely 2 year-old white female cat called "Lily". She was being fostered by Coventry Cat Group. One of her favourite spots is in her cat cradle next to the radiator.

John has now reached the magical age of 40. Amongst his birthday treats was a flying lesson at Midland Air Training Ltd where we spent a very enjoyable hour up over Northampton and Coventry in a Piper Cherokee (along with an instructor called Ray, who was a very nice chap!)

As the official photographer of the trip Julia was delegated the photographic challenges. This was in fact quite tricky as the air is quite turbulent at low levels and a lot of the best views were blocked by the 'drivers' and the wings. At one point we went above the lower cloud levels and suddenly the air was calm and clear.

On Easter Sunday we had a lovely meal with the family at The Pheasant at Withybrook which had an excellent selection of veggie meals. We had 'tea' and 'cake' at our house. Naturally, the cake was an edible computer.

Just in case John couldn't quite remember how old he was we put up a few decorations to jog his failing memory...
