Regular Activities at St. Matthew's

The church building hosts many activities:

St. Matthew's is the home of The Northampton Bach Choir who give regular concerts in the church.

Recently the Swarbrick Singers have given concerts and the Schools Town Festival has made the church one of their venues. The Diocese celebrates a Candlemass liturgy for local church schools, presided by Bishop Frank.

The church organises and presents an annual Celebration of Young People's Music and Art for local schools. This takes the form of workshops in church stimulated by the art, achitecture and glass, led by Education Inspectorate and Advisory Service. The artwork in various materials is then displayed for public viewing, together with musical concerts and dance displays.
