Built in the 1730s to the designs of the celebrated architect James Gibbs, Kelmarsh Hall is one of central England's foremost Palladian mansions. Rosie Macarthur, who is writing a doctoral thesis on material culture and consumption at Kelmarsh, c.1687-1845, will give a talk about the estate, to be followed by a guided tour of the Hall exclusive to members and their guests.
