The umbrella organisation for British bats is The Bat Conservation Trust which is based in London, UK. The BCT is the national UK organisation dedicated to the conservation of all British species of bat. Their site covers a lot of ground and naturally concentrates on UK species.

There are around 90 bat groups in the British Isles and probably many more than that abroad.
